LUCENA CITY — A motorcycle rider died and another one was injured after a truck hit their vehicle while traveling along the Maharlika Highway in Sariaya town in Quezon province on Saturday evening, October 19. The Quezon police said in a report that motorcyclist “Jhon”, 20, and her back-rider “Beverly”, 14, were about to turn left toward the roadside convenience store in Barangay (village) Concepcion Palasan around 7:15 p.m. when an oncoming Isuzu Elf closed van driven by “Rommel” hit them from behind.
